So I've been a little behind on blogging. This Fall has been very busy and full of lots of fun. Here are some pictures of the kids enjoying some fall fun!

They have LOVED painting pumpkins this year!

Especially Tristan. He could paint all day!

We went apple picking again. Love yearly traditions!

Lysey very much seemed to love the tradition.

We also carved our pumpkins! A little late due to the SNOW STORM in October that took away our power for 3 days! But better late then never!

Missing our family in MA

We so wish our family lived closer! How wonderful it would be to have babysitters :) If you guys are reading this...don't feel used lol. We love you for more than just babysitting!

The kids miss the snuggles and goofiness of Mimi and G-daddy.

I simply miss the day to day hang out and conversations.

We miss Aunt Jenny and Uncle Johnny and their doggies!

So excited to visit them in their new house this Spring!

and of course ...

...we miss Uncle Matt! He's so good to the

kids and they love hanging out with him!

Looking forward to see them in the next couple of weeks as we celebrate Thanksgiving and my sweet girl's 1st Birthday! I love when we're all together!

I took the kids to the CRAYOLA FACTORY! Tristan had a blast and Lysey loved chewing on the crayons. Overall a successful day!

A quick trip to New York

My beautiful cousin, Hannah was coming all the way

from TX to MA to visit family. The kids couldn't really handle another trip to MA so we decided to meet in NY. It was quick but so special and so worth it. Love you Hanners!

York Beach

I took the kids to MA to visit my family for a week and we went to Nubble Light- York Beach, ME. This is a place full of many memories. Love getting a chance to introduce my kids to those memories.

Kid's Room makeovers!

Nathan and I are in the process of redoing our attic and making it into a master bedroom. At this point, the project is going very slow because we've been so busy. For the sake of getting one project out of the way, we decided to move Lysey into our room and we moved to the guest room for the time being.

We received a huge blessing in the mail. A free trundle bed for Lysey bear. It is all wood and matched all her furniture! So exciting!

I didn't want to have to repaint our old room for her into some little girly color that I would just have to repaint in a few years but I did want it to be girly and blue was not an easy color to work with.

I finally decided to do a seashell theme and I love it! I think she'll be able to grow with it for a few years

I also painted Tristan's room and got him a new big boy - trundle bed.

Thank you Mimi and G-daddy for the dresser!

The Hubbers took me away for a weekend!

Well Mr. T has turned into the Protective brother. The other day we were at the pool and the kids were playing with lots of other kids. One little boy came up to Elyse and rubbed her hand and said

" You're cute!"

Well Tristan was not having it. ;) He quickly took that boys hand off of his sister and looked at him straight in the eyes and said for the first time...very clearly

"DON'T TOUCH"

HA! A little much maybe but still couldn't stop myself for cracking up! Love that my kids love each other!

Even back when she was in my belly...

T was her little protector :)

Vehicles! We serve a big God!

We quickly outgrew our little corolla once little Elyse

came into the picture. We didn't know how it would be possible to

buy a van that wasn't junk but again God came through and blessed

our desire to not be in debt!

God provided a van that fit all of our needs and more!

At the perfect price! Taxes and

selling the Corolla covered the expenses!

Then about a month later

Nathan's "crap" car took a crap! ;)

He bought it for $1,500 a couple of years ago

and sold it for $500(the $500 covered the cost

of the title transfer/new license plate etc... of his....

TRUCK

Nathan has always dreamed of buying a truck and God provided for His son. I love it. It's not new by any means but its in good shape and the price was AMAZING. We got it for $1,500 cheaper than the blue book value and it's in excellent shape!

God always amazes me. So thankful that we serve a God that we can trust to provide for His children.

We had a little family birthday party for our big 2 year old :)

I think he had a blast.

and Nini came! We all loved having her(especially Mr. T)

and were sad to see her go...but we'll see her again soon!

Today my little boy turns two!

My sweet boy Tristan Isaac Desch turns 2 today.

Where does time go? I'm a parent? What?!

I remember when I found out. I was so excited and couldn't stop

shaking and talking to myself :)

Nathan needed a few days to get used to it but was

so excited once he processed everything. That's about normal for him!

We thought boy from the very beginning. We had our doubts

but that was our first thought.

I loved being pregnant with him.

And out he came. 5 wks early. May 5th, 2009

He was such a good baby...especially for being a premie

Then he developed his fun loving personality. Love that boy!

And now here he is. I feel like I can catch glimpses of his teen years in this last photo.

Lord thank you for this blessing. Help us raise this child. In Jesus name....

Cranky kids!

Well, we're on week two of the hubbers being away for work and the kids are missing him tons and taking it out on me of course! :P Since Nathan left my wonderful sleeper(Mr. T) has decided to throw fits every night...figures. I've tried everything and made sure all of his needs are met. So all I can think of is that he's acting out because he misses his daddy :( We've got two more days until he's home. Can we make it? I think the kids can...but can I?

Well we finally found time for family pictures. We we

nt to Hopewell furnace, walked around and took pictures.

Tristan had a blast! He loved running around in the

open fields and looking at the water wheel!

Little Elyse enjoyed the sun and putting her feet in the grass for the first time.

Love these two and I love that they love each other so much!

Tristan is loving potty training. He always has a tough time when we go away... it takes him a good couple of days to a week to get back into it again. But he's back and loving being a big boy! He's a big fan of flushing his goods down the toilet. He must always be the one to flush and say "BYE BYE POOP!" Love my little stud!

Little Lysey is all about the rolls these days. Not only does she have them ; ) but she is now rolling over and quite proud of herself! She also is very much into being a "big kid" with Tristan. She always wants to be standing up and playing with him or sitting in her Bumbo next to him. It's too cute!
